  • Acted for an Indonesian company in relation to its sale of more than 800 hectares of industrial estate land in Indonesia to a Chinese company at a low nine digit USD consideration. 
  • Prepare and reviewed various Singapore lease agreements for local and overseas clients. 
  • Reviewed several lease agreements for Indonesian subsidiaries (domiciled in various locations throughout Indonesia) of a Singapore company in the oil and gas sector.

  • Acted for a Singapore listed property development company in connection with its acquisition of 50% of a condominium development in the Jakarta CBD area from a listed Indonesian property developer. 
  • Acted for a Singapore Company with respect to its development of an integrated resort project in Batam. 
  • Acted for a Singapore Government-Linked Company in connection with land title searches and execution of the Hak Tanggungan (mortgage) over a plot of land in Bintan.
  • Consulted by a Singapore investor with respect to land purchase dispute in Bintan.
  • Acted for a Singapore company in connection with certain issues with respect to their long lease in Bintan. 
  • Acted for a European company in relation to a shareholders’ dispute over various plots of land in Batam and representing the European company in hostile negotiations and concluding the matter in an amicable settlement. 
  • Acted for a Singapore Consortium with respect to land disputes over 3 plots of land in West Java. 
  • Acted for a Singapore listed company in connection with its collaboration with a local Indonesian partner for the development of a high end residential property in Central Jakarta.
  • Conducted due diligence for 6 plots of land in Lombok with an aggregate land size of 10 hectares for a private investor from Singapore, including advice on complex legal issues arising from the results of the land searches conducted in Lombok.
  • Acted for a Taiwanese company in its disposal of a garment factory in Bandung and the 2 hectares of land on which the factory was situated.
  • Acted for a vendor for the sale and purchase of a plot of land in Bali. 
 
  • Acted for a Hong Kong investor with respect to the sale and purchase of land (with villa) in Bali. 
 
  • Acted for a regional car distributor in connection with its purchase of land and building in South Jakarta.

  • Acted for a Singapore listed property development company in connection with its acquisition of 80 Units (approximately 50% of the total) of a condominium development in Downtown Jakarta from an Indonesian property developer. Legal due diligence included land title searches and verification of permits and licenses evidencing legal construction of the development.
